A simple journey?
The journey isn’t the destination. But almost.
Samnaun isn’t on the way – it is the way. Getting here is a conscious choice. The mountains draw closer, everyday life fades into the distance. Whether you’re travelling over the Alps by car, gliding through the Inntal valley by train, or letting the bus carry you up the last bend – at some point it will happen: that moment when everything opens up.
Your holiday begins during the journey.
By car
You can reach Samnaun by car via the Engadin road or through Austria via Landeck. The last few kilometres take you through Lower Engadin – and Samnaun awaits at the end. GPS knows the route, the mountains do the rest.
Once you arrive in the village, you drive right up to the door. A few bends, a short stop – and you’re there.
